Guidelines for
Writing the Report:
1.
Write
down the experiment number, title and objective of the experiment as given in
the instruction sheet.
2.
Draw
connection diagrams of the circuits.
3.
Show
the test data in tabular form (Use the formats of the data tables given
before). Include the readings, Test meter = 0 and Standard meter = 0 in tables
(if zero adjustments have been made).
4.
Draw
calibration curve for the test ammeter and voltmeter. Choose test instruments
reading as abscissa and the corresponding error (in percent of full scale).
Join the experimental points by straight lines (not using smooth mean curve). Mention
the maximum absolute (i.e., irrespective of sign) error as percent of full scale
in each case.
